[1.7.10] Player collision box over his shoulder!!??

Hi guys,

I just noticed that the player collision box (seen with F3+b) is over its shoulder ... its like it was moved two squares up.

What the heck?

I did the test with vanilla minecraft 1.7.10. I thought that a mod could do this ...so I tried vanilla. Same thing!

Am I missing something?

It is vanilla semi-bug. Not a thing you should be worried about, but rather a way they coded values back in 1.7.10. In 1.8 Box is adjusted (PLEASE update, cmon ppl, why stay in past?)

You shouldn't worry about it.

1.7.10 is no longer supported by forge, you are on your own.

To be specific, prior to 1.8 the position of the bounding box on the client mistakenly had the eye level added to it -- you can see in your picture that the bottom of the bounding box is at eye level.

Thanks to both of you!

I was wondering because I have a small mobs that uses collision box to know if he touched the player and I was wondering how come the collision was not happening. Will try to figure something out...
