Disable button not working for any mods

So. I have a mod Called (if you don't care don't open the spoiler)

Squake

and in most servers its considered hacking so i clicked the "Mods" button on the main menu to disable that mod and it didn't work also tried for other mods of mine and still doesn't work $:-\$

When will it be fixed? And can anybody help me disable my mods now?

Or you could make a folder in your mods folder named "disable" and put mods in there to disable them. That's what I do.

Universally disabling mods was never implemented in 1.12.2 and lower, and it was completely removed in 1.13.2 (mods that would have used it will now have a disable/enable switch in their config.
