Posted December 26, 20159 yr Hi, I've created my custom rendered block successfully. Now I'm trying to face my custom rendered block in the direction I've placed it in. I can face West, North, South, but not east. I don't how how this thing works then. Thanks for helping. Render code: http://pastebin.com/Kndy6fyq (It's between line 34 and 54. I also now it's better to use a switch there, and I'll do that later) Creator of the Master Chef Mod and many more to come. If I helped you, please click the 'thank you' button.
December 26, 20159 yr Well, your rotate call is the same as the rotate call for South, so "no duh." Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable. If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME. Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice. Exception: If you do not understand Java, I WILL NOT HELP YOU and your thread will get locked. DO NOT PM ME WITH PROBLEMS. No help will be given.

OpenGL rotation parameters are angle, x-factor, y-factor, z-factor, so to turn it, you do 90, 0, 1, 0. If you are correcting the orientation of the object because it renders in the wrong orientation from that, correct it with a rotation call before hand. Sometimes Minecraft has models upside down, and that can be fixed by scaling the X and Y axes by -1, and Z by 1.
December 26, 20159 yr Author Well, your rotate call is the same as the rotate call for South, so "no duh." Yeah, I know that. The only thing is: I've set it to south so that it wouldn't crash. December 26, 20159 yr How the F would this crash without that GL rotate line? Anyway, TrashCaster is correct.
