ConcurrentModificationException, no Mods button

When launching the Minecraft client, I get the ConcurrentModificationException error, and then the Mods button does not appear.

20:20:35 FATAL]: Fatal error launching game. Report this to http://bugs.mojang.com please!

java.util.ConcurrentModificationException

I used forge-1.8.9-11.15.0.1707-installer.jar to install Forge and minecraft_server.1.8.9.jar and the latest Minecraft.jar download. Java is:

openjdk version "1.8.0_65"

OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_65-b17)

OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.65-b01, mixed mode)

Upload the FML log (logs/fml-client-latest.log) to Gist and link it here.

That file does not exist. There is only logs/latest.log (for that see https://gist.github.com/martinellison/c08e1e51648e7a6c2709.js, but it doesn't shine any light on the issue). There are also earlier versions of the server log.

Is this message printed in the launcher log? If so, post that using Gist.

When linking a Gist, either copy the URL from the address bar or select Share in the dropdown menu next to the URL textbox and copy that URL. The Embed URL is for embedding the Gist into a webpage.

How to add my mob to another mod's biome in 1.20.1.

You can add mob spawns using Forge's Biome Modifiers feature. I won't go into details on how to use a data generator for them, but here's a simple example:

How to change player renderer and transform model parts?

I have been trying for a while now to make a custom player renderer, and replace the vanilla player renderer with it. So far I've come up with a custom player renderer class that extends vanilla PlayerRenderer:

This logic isn't replacing the renderer, as far as I can tell. Can someone please advise as to why, and how to fix it?

I'm on 1.20.1 and was wondering if there was a way to add a mob I am going to make to a other mod's biome (Regions Unexplored in this case). I am trying to figure this out before I start coding the mod. Could someone point me to a good guide on this? I saw some things about biome modifier's but all the resources are either to short, unhelpful or for a different version. Thanks in advance. (i am a beginner but i have java and modding knowledge so this isn't like a "i am new and don't know anything about coding" problem btw)
