Posted March 23, 20169 yr When I unwrap a model I made in blender, I join all objects into one, then mark seams, then UV unwrap. But the UV map proportions are really weird. Like a simple cube could be stretched really thin, or a circle could be compressed in a oval. What am I doing wrong?
March 23, 20169 yr This really isn't a Forge question, but a Blender question. But it all has to do with the initial approximation. If you start with a bad approximation, then some of the faces will end up skewed or squashed. Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable. If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME. Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice. Exception: If you do not understand Java, I WILL NOT HELP YOU and your thread will get locked. DO NOT PM ME WITH PROBLEMS. No help will be given.
March 25, 20169 yr Are they on top of each other? If so, you need to select all and unwrap. If you marked a seam by accident, make sure you remove it. Maybe upload a picture to imgur and post it here.
