Posted July 3, 20169 yr I probably did something wrong with my GUI, because whenever I resize my game window it draws the text of a label after I change it over the previous text...If that makes sense. Here's an example: Before resizing: After resizing (and changing the label): You can see that the label that says 'Score: 4' is now overlapping the text 'Score: 3' Can someone please help? Thanks. GUI Code: package scoptile.dumbcraft.gui; import java.io.IOException; import net.minecraft.client.gui.GuiButton; import net.minecraft.client.gui.GuiLabel; import net.minecraft.client.gui.GuiScreen; import net.minecraft.client.gui.GuiTextField; public class GuiTest extends GuiScreen { public static GuiButton increase; public static GuiLabel score_label; int score = 0; @Override public void drawScreen (int mouseX, int mouseY, float partialTicks) { this.drawDefaultBackground(); super.drawScreen(mouseX, mouseY, partialTicks); } @Override public boolean doesGuiPauseGame() { return false; } @Override public void initGui () { this.buttonList.add(this.increase = new GuiButton(0, 0, 0, 100, 20, "Increase Score")); this.labelList.add(this.score_label = new GuiLabel(fontRendererObj, 1, 105, 0, 300, 20, 0xFFFFFF)); } @Override protected void actionPerformed(GuiButton button) throws IOException { if (button == this.increase) { ++ score; this.score_label.labels.clear(); this.score_label.addLine("Score: " + score); //this.mc.displayGuiScreen(null); //if (this.mc.currentScreen == null) // this.mc.setIngameFocus(); } } } This is my creative and unique signature.
July 3, 20169 yr IIRC, initGui is called every time the screen changes size. So that button and label are being recreated each time. The super-method, I believe, contains a call to buttonList.clear() and labelList.clear() which is why it only happens to your gui (you don't call super).
