I'm trying to make a fish entity that swims around and stuff but I can't figure out how and the fish just keep jumping up and down under the water. I've looked everywhere but I can't find anything that'll help :/ I'm a little new to modding too.

Well I know how to make blocks, items, guis and mobs and I understand basic java but I'm just trying to figure out how to do custom ais and custom potion effects and stuff. Idk, I I've looked at the squid class and all it is is a bunch of stuff about how to make the tentacles move. I extended EntityWaterMob but it still does that jumping thing. And I don't know how to make the custom ai, it just doesn't make much sense to me

Your other thread was insufficient?

Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable.  If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME.  Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice.

Exception: If you do not understand Java, I WILL NOT HELP YOU and your thread will get locked.

DO NOT PM ME WITH PROBLEMS. No help will be given.

I haven't worked with AI before but I remember there was part of the AI where the entity would jump in the water you have to disable or exclude. Once there was a bug Minecraft that land mobs wouldn't be able to swim up and it was because this AI was disabled/was not included
