[1.10.2] [Unsolved] Updating mod results in broken models

Hello,

After finally being able to get my mod running in a 1.10.2 environment, I cannot seem to be able to load my models or lang files anymore.

They worked perfectly before in 1.9.4, but they don't anymore.

I'm not sure why Forge can't find your item models.

Gradle task, are the models in the produced JAR?

Yes I can find all the files from my project when building it. Also in the .jar file I can find all the files.

I suppose that my upper and lower case if the error as I can't find anything else. (Will try that now and edit this post).

Unless your mod ID is "nlxdodge/universalcache" then your blockstate files all of your assets are in the wrong place.

 

$10 says your mod ID is "universalcache" and that you've added an extra subdirectory you don't need.

The original Github link still applies, and the init file has not been changed at all, aside from removing a few things from the Ore Dictionary.

Also, the en_US.lang no longer works, which is weird.

Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable.  If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME.  Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice.

You don't have an inventory variant.

 

But they do have an item model with that name, which should be loaded before Forge attempts to load the blockstates variant. For some reason a 

FileNotFoundException

is thrown for the item model, even though that file appears to exist.

 

I'm not too sure what's causing this, you can try running the 

clean

Gradle task to delete the build directory and then 

cleanEclipse

/

cleanIdea

to delete the IDE project before re-importing it.

Please don't PM me to ask for help. Asking your question in a public thread preserves it for people who are having the same problem in the future.

Bump. Still doesn't seem to work, even when I set all of the blockstate files to the type "inventory", the model doesn't work, and the en_US.lang doesn't work either.

They were all valid prior to 1.10.2

If I'm asking a whole bunch of questions, please don't get angry. I'm trying to learn.
