Installed Forge, but nothing is happening?

Hi everyone,

I am trying to figure out why my mods aren't loading. I installed forge for 1.10.2 with the installer, both the java installer and the windows installer. the forge version shows up in my launcher.

I am attempting to use these mods:

I have custom texture packs installed.

Is there anything I am doing wrong? I'm not too clear on how to activate the mods, but their hotkeys don't work when I load my game.

I can't find one in the logs folder, so that probably means that Forge isn't loading when I launch my game?

I am going to try a complete uninstall/reinstall and see how that works. Apologies!

Yep something was installed incorrectly, probably because its been on this computer since forever ago. Thanks for giving me the clue that I needed

Forge 1.20.1 OpenAL 40963 and 40961 in DynamicSoundFilters

I copied the mod from Fabric to Forge, but errors 40963 and 40961 appear, I still don’t know the reason, I tried it in a single world, it doesn’t reproduce, the reason for the error is unknown, sometimes it exists and sometimes it doesn’t. andre111/dynamicsoundfilters: GitHub repository
The ported code to Forge is no different from the original, so you can use the source code for testing. The same error occurred on the Fabric build, mods that were on both builds:

I only know that the error occurs along the following path: MixinSoundSystem call onPlay -> FilterManager call updateSoundInstance

My friend keeps getting disconnected from our Forge Server

It is, but that is mainly to set up configs per player, I think. I don't believe it is messing chest inventories. I can try to remove that one tho and see if it fixes anything.
