Render Item onto Block Model

I want to render item onto block model. Any way?

Depends on what you're trying to do with the block.  Will this be a regular block (doesn't store items or have changing textures) with an item overlaid on the block or are you wanting something more complex?

Is it only going to display certain Items for example Items.APPLE and Items.CARROT?

Its a barrel so it has to show any items.

Then from my understanding you will most likely have to use a TESR. Though I myself have not done anything like this. I know that Block JSON's do not take any input so you can not use that.

Is there any documentation on IBakedModels or should I go mess around with them to figure out what they can do?
