I am currently trying to make lava turns into a new block called "Dragonglass" when destroyed by enderdragon, I have looked through the BlockBreakEvent and it is only fired when a player break the block, not an enderdragon. Any help?

I think you'll have to check to see what gets destroyed by comparing what is in the bounding box of the dragon during each living update of the dragon entity.

In the current living update code for the dragon entity, it has destroyBlocksInAABB(this.dragonPartHead.getEntityBoundingBox())

That function is private, but that's okay. The main thing is that it destroys the blocks in the dragonPartHead bounding box. So you could simply handle the living update event, check if it is and ender dragon and if so and turn all lava that is in that bounding box to your dragon glass.
