I am a beginning Modder. I have been following "Mr Crayfish's" modding tutorials. All is working fine other than getting textures to work. I feel that I have something wrong with my model loading, but can't figure it out. Some help would be great. I have a git repo set up and public. Feel free to point out my shortcomings....

Take a look at my block video tutorial in the youtube link in my signature.

The "blocks" and "items" folders in resources/models shouldn't have an s at the end

They should be "block" and "item".

 

Weird thing, I know.

 

Also, change the item "parent": "builtin/generated" to "parent": "item/generated". MrCrayfish does this later in the video, and it looks a lot better.
