[1.10.2] ItemStack from BreakEvent

Hello,

 

I need to make ItemStack by using BreakEvent.

 

The reason is to plant Forestry sapling:

ITree tree = TreeManager.treeRoot.getMember(itemStack);
TreeManager.treeRoot.plantSapling(World world, ITree tree, GameProfile owner, BlockPos pos);

Like I said, I would like to plant Forestry sapling in a BreakEvent method.. To do that, I need ItemStack of sapling:

 

ITree tree = TreeManager.treeRoot.getMember(itemStack);
TreeManager.treeRoot.plantSapling(World world, ITree tree, GameProfile owner, BlockPos pos);

Ok I need to place a Forestry sapling on a position, where the block has been destroyed..

 

e.g. When I destroy oak wood log, it will place specific sapling on that position.

 

In vanilla it is simple.. In a BreakEvent method:

world.setBlockToAir(position);
leafVariant = world.getBlockState(blockPos).getValue(event.getWorld().getBlockState(blockPos).getBlock().getBlockState().getProperty("variant")).toString().toUpperCase();
world.setBlockState(position, Blocks.SAPLING.getDefaultState().withProperty(BlockSapling.TYPE, BlockPlanks.EnumType.valueOf(leafVariant)));

but Forestry needs a itemStack and I dont know how to work it out..

    • I had a similar issue to what you do above. Given this is an old post, you've probably sorted this now In my case, I had Java (JDK) 22 installed. After uninstalling that and installing 17.0.11 (having both installed gives the same error), then running the startserver.bat worked for me. I managed to get to the EULA section and then start my server correctly- I hope it helps anyone else who may have this issue!
    • Make a test with another Launcher like MultiMC, AT Launcher or Technic Launcher
    • I opened up Minecraft today for the first time in a month and whenever I try and play forge I get an error 1 message.
