Posted November 9, 20169 yr I'm so so confused. I ran into a problem where I couldn't connect with a friend because I have Forge and he doesn't. So I downloaded Forge for him. Now we have two different Forge versions (He has .2099, I have .2011), so I downloaded the most recent one for my computer. It won't load .2099 for me. When I select the forge profile on the Minecraft menu, it still just says it's loading .2011. I confirmed that his folders and everything in them are identical to mine. I don't know why my Minecraft isn't loading the right Forge. Do you have any idea what's causing this?
November 9, 20169 yr Select the version you want in the launcher profile. Select the profile -> Edit Profile -> Version I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated. Consider supporting the team on Patreon
