Posted December 1, 20168 yr Hello ! I have a little problem. I installed Forge 1.11 and now I can't open some chests. The only mods that I use are Just Enough Items and Optifine. There are some wooden stairs above the chests. They used to open in Vanilla 1.11 , but after I installed Forge they don't open anymore...
December 1, 20168 yr This is an intended feature to fix what we consider a vanilla bug. We have been doing this for years. The underside of stairs are solid, you can't open chests under solid blocks. I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated. Consider supporting the team on Patreon
