Posted February 7, 20178 yr Hello. I'm a Minecraft player and I want to play with some mods. I'm a MacOs user and I tried to install Forge 1.7.10-installer.jar, but when I double click on the file the decompression utility starts and creates a new folder. I already installed Java Run Environment and JDK version 8_121 and I still have the same problem. Could you help me with the problem? (Notice: I download all the installer for the Forge and even the universal one) Thank you.

February 8, 20178 yr jar- != -jar You misplaced the ' - ' character. Edited February 8, 20178 yr by larsgerrits Don't PM me with questions. They will be ignored! February 8, 20178 yr No, it's java -jar <filename>, with the dash in front of "jar". Don't PM me with questions. They will be ignored! February 8, 20178 yr Author I already did it. I wrote java -jar without the dash in front of jar and that work. Thank you very much for your help.
