Posted April 13, 20178 yr Hi all, I asked some days ago for a method to prevent an Item to be moved out from the inventory. Draco18s told me that it is impossible. So I was thinking if it's possible to make a player holding an item that is not in his inventory. Someone know a way to do that? Edited April 14, 20178 yr by Nosba
April 13, 20178 yr Capabilities. Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable. If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME. Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice. Exception: If you do not understand Java, I WILL NOT HELP YOU and your thread will get locked. DO NOT PM ME WITH PROBLEMS. No help will be given.
April 13, 20178 yr Author First of all sorry for the title. 3 hours ago, TheSunCat said: What do you mean, exactly? You want to render an EntityPkayer with an item in their hand? That is certainly possible. I don't want only to render it, I want the player holds it so if the player use the item it should work. 3 hours ago, Draco18s said: Capabilities. Can you be more specific? I know that I can use the capabilities to store Entity's data, but nothing more.

I think if you edit the 1st post, you can revise and extend the title (that's how some titles end up inserting "[SOLVED]" etc) The debugger is a powerful and necessary tool in any IDE, so learn how to use it. You'll be able to tell us more and get better help here if you investigate your runtime problems in the debugger before posting.
