I've read the crash report and can't seem to find anything out of the ordinary, I'm not too good with computers so maybe one of you can help me!

Here's the Crash Report: https://gyazo.com/f313c126102f32b873cd410d5d2fbcb0

I've tried reinstalling the forge version 1.8.9-forge1.8.9-11.15.1.1722, checked logs, etc.

You are trying to install 2 versions of Optifine, one for 1.7.10.

Also, next time: don't post screenshots of the error log. Just copy the text either put it in a spoiler or host it on Pastebin or a Github gist and leave the link here.

Don't PM me with questions. They will be ignored! Make a thread on the appropriate board for support.

1.12 -> 1.13 primer by williewillus.

1.7.10 and older versions of Minecraft are no longer supported due to it's age! Update to the latest version for support.

You could make different profiles with a different game folder, which has its own mods folder. If you use a different game folder for each profile, you won't get conflicts about mods for different versions.

Thank's, I'd assume I'd name it "mods"? and 1.7.10 and 1.8.9 folders would be completely seperated?

No. You give the game folder a logical name, e.g.: "1.11.2 modded", which will contain a mods folder for your mods.

No. You can put your game folder everywhere you'd like, but putting it in another game folder (.minecraft is a game folder) could cause weird issues. I have a folder containing all game folders at the same level as the .minecraft folder, which contains folders like "1.8.9 modded" or "1.11.2 vanilla".

It doesn't matter where the folder is. Just be careful when you put it in another game folder.

In your "mods" folder create a folder called "1.8.9" (no quotes) and place all of your 1.8.9 mods in that folder and then when you launch Minecraft with either the old or new launcher using the Forge Profile it will look in that folder to load all of your mods for you.
