Idiot, never download mods from those shady sites. They may give you a virus, so always get them from the mod's OP or site.

Read the EAQ before posting! OR ELSE!

 

This isn't building better software, its trying to grab a place in the commit list of a highly visible github project.

    The first link I gave was to minecraftforum.net. Is that shady?

     

    The second link I gave was the duplicate of the official download link from that thread. Since the person I'm responding to has indicated that they were having trouble finding the mod, it's feasible that they could not find that download link themselves. (Don't laugh, I've seen people like that.)

    He is talking about the websites that are advertising they already have 1.5 versions of the mod already. Like 9minecraft.net etc. This goes for pretty much any site that isn't these forums or the mod page on the official minecraft forums.
