So I downloaded forge right. Already had minecraft before hand. I installed forge and everything. I launch minecraft and I change it so it's running on forge v1.11.2 , and let me just explain no matter what version I put forge on, it doesn't work. I tried removing all traces of forge from my minecraft game, and then running minecraft on 1.11.2 before downloading and installing forge for 1.11.2.

And as it may obviously seem, it did not work. I go into the tab on the right of the play button and change it to forge, and once the start screen loads up, neither the mods tab nor the information on the mods or forge are in the bottom left corner like they should be.

And all the mods I have downloaded run with the version of forge.  I have tried each individually, nothing shows up. Like the mods tab and the forge details do not exist. When I run it on the forge launch, it just says "Minecraft 1.11.2" and that's it.

I would appreciate if this had an explanation?

First of all, please use a more descriptive thread title so that people can help you better.

Secondly, the "forge" profile you have - can you go into the options for the profile, and make sure it is using the "forge" version?

I have the same problem, already checked the mods and launcher but I cant get the icons to show when minecraft is loading.

I use the forge profile but the vanilla loading screen appears. Please help.
