I am trying to used forge 1.11.2 or 1.12 or anything but because of java problems had to take steps to fix forge using java stuff to insert into folders and such, I am on mac and watched and did all the stuff in the following video, just for mac not windows or whatever that is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eRDxkt9ThIw
When I try to launch any of the versions for forge I got this message:
Name: forge-1.7.2-10.12.2.1121.jar
URL: http://files.minecraftforge.net/maven/net/minecraftforge/forge/1.7.2-10.12.2.1121/forge-1.7.2-10.12.2.1121.jar
Error details: HTTP 404: Not Found
Filename on disk: 8ce9-0f7d-fccc-b13f
Path: /var/folders/1h/2s2z3pld6478_sbp5ckrt21c0000gp/T/8ce9-0f7d-fccc-b13f
Exists: file

afterwards It never gave me that ever again

I also tried 1.7.2 to no avail it didnt work

I then installed java 7.81 or whatever the latet version of java 7 and nothing is fixed.

Not sure what that video is, but it's probably not helpful.

If you are on mac you most likely cannot run Jar files by double-clicking them, you need to run them from the terminal, google will give you plenty of instructions for that.

Why are you using Java 7? You should be using Java 8.

Java 7 was easier to install then java 8 update 11, and because of basically the first sentence here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/2206446-forge-1-6-4-1-7-2-java-8-compatibility-patch also the video was showing how to fix the forge crash,  I was able to run the .jar file because of a application that converted them into zip files. Do you have an answer to my problem? I don't see why you responded, no offense (dont ban me)

Update to Java 8 update 131, it works perfectly well. The post you linked is 3 years old. The issue has been fixed since a long time.

Then launch again.
