just like in the topic

what i have tried so far:

	public File getSoundResourceAsFile(ResourceLocation resource) throws IOException {
		String[] splitRes = resource.getResourcePath().split("[.]");
		ResourceLocation resourceLocation = ((ItemRecord) Items.RECORD_CAT).getRecordResource(resource.getResourcePath());
		SoundEventAccessor sound = Minecraft.getMinecraft().getSoundHandler().getSound() // Whats the substitute for this??
		ResourceLocation resourceLocationFile = sound.func_148720_g().getSoundPoolEntryLocation(); // And this?
		InputStream inputStream = Minecraft.getMinecraft().getResourceManager().getResource(resourceLocationFile).getInputStream();

		return streamToFile(inputStream, Files.createTempFile("tmp", "."+splitRes[splitRes.length-1]).toFile());
	}
