Hi! I need some help instaling Forge in minecraft 1.1. I've tried downloading the alstest version of forge for minecraft 1.1 and doing the old way to install it, but minecraft download the 1.1.jar file again. I mean, i put all the files from the .jar from the version 1.3.4.29 into the 1.1 file, I delete the META-INF file and, once I hit the "Play" button, minecraft downloads again the 1.1 file son theres no forge version of minecraft.

Can someone help me?

Thanks!

Sorry if I have some mistakes, im spanish and my english is not perfect :P

The launcher verifies the integrity of Minecraft.

You have to create a new version. There are plenty of tutorials out there.

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.

I've created a new version called TC1. When i press play the launcher still downloads the "TC1.jar" and the META-INF reapears and my game is a Minecraft 1.1 vanilla. I dont know what can i do.

I've followed the steps from PorkyFish14, he has a post on the Minecraft Forum explaining how to use Custom Jars.
