There is any effective way to read bossbar names? I don't want to ASM it.

Should I consider adding a packet handler at netty?

Thanks :D

The list is stored in Minecraft.getMinecraft().ingameGUI.getBossOverlay().mapBossInfos. The field is private, so you'll need reflection to access it.

The problem is that i want to know when this updates and i can't just keep doing reflections all the time

typo

The field lookup is what's slow.

Do that once, cache it.

Actually retrieving the value is pretty fast.

What for? What do you want to achieve (not "how do you want to code it")?

  1. You don't have to, the field is final.
  2. Even if you do, accessing a field with reflection is fast enough. It's the lookup (performed once at game startup) that is a bit slow.

Thanks, that worked as well 0 ms response =)
