Posted December 4, 20177 yr There is any effective way to read bossbar names? I don't want to ASM it. Should I consider adding a packet handler at netty? Thanks Edited December 4, 20177 yr by HeyZeer0

The field is private, so you'll need reflection to access it. The problem is that i want to know when this updates and i can't just keep doing reflections all the time Edited December 4, 20177 yr by HeyZeer0 typo
December 4, 20177 yr The field lookup is what's slow. Do that once, cache it. Actually retrieving the value is pretty fast. Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable. If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME. Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice. What do you want to achieve (not "how do you want to code it")? You don't have to, the field is final. Even if you do, accessing a field with reflection is fast enough. It's the lookup (performed once at game startup) that is a bit slow. Thanks, that worked as well 0 ms response =)
