when I run debug and it shows me the debug perspective the game stops responding and it shows me a class that says url not found and inside it is just a red text saying source not found and  it shows me a clickable button that says edit source path.

Are you hitting a breakpoint and trying to step through external code?

You go into Debug mode because you hit a breakpoint.

In your top right window are all of your breakpoints you have set.  I would imagine you set a breakpoint somewhere by accident.

Right click on the breakpoint names and select "Remove"

So I would remove all my breakpoints? How do I even edit minecraft live now, you know ithout restarting the game just to change a features?

It sounds like your project isn't set up properly.  Maybe you have something like "src/main/" instead of "src/main/java" set as the source folder in your eclipse project?
What do the Java files look like to you in Eclipse?  Do they look like normal files where you have to go through a standard file directory tree or do you have all of the folders show up like proper Java packages?

That isn't a breakpoint, it is obviously a null pointer exception. Not sure why you'd hit it in debug mode and not in normal mode. But it says you have a null pointer problem with your ContainerDragon class.

I was going to intend to try this:

he used the debug feature so that when I really need a quick change like model part locations etc. I would not need to quit and restart minecraft.

if you add method, fields what not then you always have to reboot.

these are hard changes so yea you could change values of already set fields, ... but not new thingy's :P
