There are many great websites out there to post images for free. http://imgur.com is a good one.

And yes, if you're in the 'resourcepacks' folder then it should be empty and then you hit the back arrow once and it'll show you the whole MC folder.

 

 

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.
