Fabillo Posted March 21, 2018 Posted March 21, 2018 Hello, i am trying to edit the source code of Minecraft. I know, that it is not directly possible with Forge, but i heard of a technique called mixins. Does anyone in this forum know something about mixins, or how to use it? Thanks for any kind of help. Draco18s Posted March 21, 2018 Posted March 21, 2018 This is the Forge modder support. If you are not using Forge to mod.... We do not support. Quote Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable. If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME. Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice. Exception: If you do not understand Java, I WILL NOT HELP YOU and your thread will get locked. DO NOT PM ME WITH PROBLEMS. No help will be given.

Draco18s Posted March 21, 2018 Posted March 21, 2018 Mixins don't modify classes. They let you perform weird inheritance, essentially using a class as if it was an interface. We do not support core-modding on this forum, and if you need any help with it, you shouldn't be doing it. What are you trying to do? There might (probably) be a better way to do it. Make a thread on the appropriate board for support. 1.12 -> 1.13 primer by williewillus. 1.7.10 and older versions of Minecraft are no longer supported due to it's age! I'm trying to edit the EntityPlayerSP class. /** * Swings the item the player is holding. */ public void swingItem() { super.swingItem(); this.sendQueue.addToSendQueue(new C0APacketAnimation()); } this should be: /** * Swings the item the player is holding. */ public void swingItem() { } so i'm trying to avoid the swing animation directly. Fabillo Posted March 21, 2018 Author Posted March 21, 2018 (edited) Another question: How can i delete packets before they are send to the server? I could just cancel Packet18Animation to stop the swing animation. Edited March 21, 2018 by Fabillo Quote

Can't you just handle the RenderSpecificHandEvent and reset the swing progress to prevent it? Quote Check out my tutorials here: http://jabelarminecraft.blogspot.com/
