Posted July 3, 201213 yr Im just wondering if it was possible to create a block with meta data then have different models for each meta data block So one block id will have 16 blocks all with different models. If it is possible how would the best way go for doing this?
July 4, 201213 yr I've seen forestry do this though i don't know how, but off the top of my head you could just have the one model contain all models. Then have the render code render each part of the model by itself. http://i577.photobucket.com/albums/ss215/bobstrong/ModBannerMed.png[/img]
July 4, 201213 yr One mod I saw used the switch system. Might provide some help to look into it. http://docs.oracle.com/javase/tutorial/java/nutsandbolts/switch.html http://www.slothygaming.com/img/ota.png[/img] If your grammar is shit and you blatantly don't know what you're doing, I will not help you.
July 4, 201213 yr In renderWorldBlock you get metadata too, so you can add different bounds. About TileEntity Renders you should get at last the block posotion so you can get metadata. Good luck.
