June 12, 20187 yr Author but i dont know how can i please have some help will it require me to create my own version of forge or work with some config
June 12, 20187 yr Author well i know java but is there a video or a git hub page where i can get some help
June 12, 20187 yr No, I have never seen anyone do that before. You will have to look through forges code and find where it renders the animation and then override it with your own.
June 12, 20187 yr Actually, I am wrong you may be able to change it using a resource pack as the gif is located at "minecraft\resources\assets\fml\textures\gui\forge.gif"
June 12, 20187 yr Author and if i dont want to use a texture pack would there be a way to do it client side and not client cosmetic side
June 12, 20187 yr Go into the directory I gave you and change the file to the one you want and make sure it is named forge.gif
June 12, 20187 yr Author Just now, thefudgeishot said: i have no assets file though plus im using custom main menu mod should i just make the files
June 12, 20187 yr Ok, so that one doesn't modify the loading screen. Could you show me the gif and the path for it?
June 12, 20187 yr It doesnt go in the mod pack it goes in the Minecraft resources folder. You said you only want it on your computer if you want it in the mod pack it's different.
