Can't seem to download correct version of Forge

Hi, I'm trying to install the latest version of Forge but the installer is downloading an older version than the one I am selecting.

 

I specifically select the "1.12.2 14.23.3.2675" then open up the forge-1.12.2.exe launcher, decline the virus install ads, then hit Finish.

New program pops up, the "Mod system installer". But the version listed is "forge 1.12.2-14.23.0.2529"

A significantly older version... and one incompatible with the mods I'm trying to install.

 

I've tried a dozen times, clicking the 2655 version as well but getting the same result... am I doing something wrong? Or are the links broken?

    There arnt, ONLY ever use MinecraftForge.net

     

    Any other website is stealing from us, and most likely installing viruses/malware on your computer.

    I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.
