I'm new to modding in 1.12 but have dabbled a bit in previous versions, I was setting up my files for a new mod but when I run eclipse and minecraft starts my mod isnt there? Here's my code:

MinecraftPlusPlus.java

package alphahydra.mcpp;

import org.apache.logging.log4j.Logger;

import alphahydra.mcpp.proxy.CommonProxy;
import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.Mod;
import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.SidedProxy;
import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.event.FMLInitializationEvent;
import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.event.FMLPostInitializationEvent;
import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.event.FMLPreInitializationEvent;

@Mod
(
		modid = MinecraftPlusPlus.MODID,
		name = MinecraftPlusPlus.MODNAME,
		version = MinecraftPlusPlus.MODVERSION,
		dependencies = "required-after:forge@[13.19.0.2129,)",
		useMetadata = true
		)

public class MinecraftPlusPlus
{

    public static final String MODID = "minecraftPlusPlus";
    public static final String MODNAME = "Minecraft++";
    public static final String MODVERSION = "0.0.1a";

    @SidedProxy
    (
    		clientSide = "alphahydra.mcpp.proxy.ClientProxy",
    		serverSide = "alphahydra.mcpp.proxy.ServerProxy"
    		)
    public static CommonProxy proxy;

    @Mod.Instance
    public static MinecraftPlusPlus instance;

    public static Logger logger;

    @Mod.EventHandler
    public void preInit(FMLPreInitializationEvent event){
        logger = event.getModLog();
       // proxy.preInit(event);
    }

    @Mod.EventHandler
    public void init(FMLInitializationEvent e) {
       // proxy.init(e);
    }

    @Mod.EventHandler
    public void postInit(FMLPostInitializationEvent e) {
       // proxy.postInit(e);
    }

}

ClientProxy.java

package alphahydra.mcpp.proxy;

public class ClientProxy extends CommonProxy {

}

ServerProxy,java

package alphahydra.mcpp.proxy;

public class ServerProxy extends CommonProxy {

}

CommonProxy.java

package alphahydra.mcpp.proxy;

public class CommonProxy {

}

Have I forgotten to add something or set up the launch path wrong?

A few things your modid should be all lowercase, and the idea of a CommonProxy doesn't make sense. For more information take a look at Code Style #1.

Your mod not loading is probably due to you not changing your Classpath in the run configurations.

VANILLA MINECRAFT CLASSES ARE THE BEST RESOURCES WHEN MODDING

I will be posting 1.15.2 modding tutorials on this channel. If you want to be notified of it do the normal YouTube stuff like subscribing, ect.

Forge and vanilla BlockState generator.
