I try to setup forge 1.8.9 but then this happens.

but "Stop using 1.8.9. Update" is not what I want, because I want to make Minecraft Mod in 1.8.9.. so I should download 1.8.9?

https://hastebin.com/: 400KB

Do NOT use sites like Mediafire, Dropbox, OneDrive, Google Drive, or a site that has a countdown before offering downloads.

Post debug.log

Older versions:

...for Installer Issues:

Post your installer log, found in the same place you ran the installer

This log will be called either installer.log or named the same as the installer but with .log on the end

Note for Windows users:

Windows hides file extensions by default so the installer may appear without the .jar extension then when the .log is added the log will appear with the .jar extension

Where to get it:

Mojang Launcher: When using the Mojang launcher debug.log is found in .minecraft\logs.

Curse/Overwolf: If you are using the Curse Launcher, their configurations break Forge's log settings, fortunately there is an easier workaround than I originally thought, this works even with Curse's installation of the Minecraft launcher as long as it is not launched THROUGH Twitch:

If you don't see logs generated in the usual place, provide the launcher_log.txt from .minecraft

The one reason I choose to download 1.8.9 other than other versions is that I like 1.8 pvp mode so I usually play with 1.8.9.

From my past posts, I ask for why 1.8.9 forge set up not work but everyone tells me to use newer versions.

I think if I use 1.12.2 forge to code for 1.8.9 it won't work... Is there any way to code mods with 1.8.9?

We do not provide support for versions that old.

If you want to get support here, use a modern version.

If you want to make a mod for 1.8.9 or anything earlier than 1.11, you'll have to go somewhere else for support.

  Start the jar with a run.bat file Create a text document and paste java -Xmx4G -jar forge-1.7.10-10.13.4.1614-1.7.10-universal.jar pause Rename the file to start.bat and start the server with this file
