I have the code already that gets the packet --pipeline stuff-- already. I just need a way to get an Entity from the packet.

 

Doing:

Minecraft.getMinecraft().world.getEntityByID(packet.getEntityID());

always returns null because I don't think the entity exists yet. I'm looking for a way to get the Entity. (End goal is trying to cancel all spawn zombie packets)

Doing all of this client side btw

I know there is an event for this, but it'd be nice to know how to do this aswell.
