AntiRix Posted November 8, 2018 Posted November 8, 2018 Right-click the project, Build Path -> Configure Build Path. Then click Libraries and Add External JARs to add a dependency. Quote

Tttttiiiiiim Posted November 8, 2018 Author Posted November 8, 2018 after looking into the console a bit i have noticed why it wasnt working it was due to me accidently giveing the mod the same mod id as the dependency the issue now is fixed and my mod is loading fine thankyou for the help Quote
Cadiboo Posted November 9, 2018 Posted November 9, 2018 That’s how you add a jar to your workspace, not how you add a dependency to your mod. You need to tell Forge that you require this mod to be installed. You can also optionally package your dependency inside your mod with gradle Quote About Me Spoiler My Discord - Cadiboo#8887 My Website - Cadiboo.github.io My Mods - Cadiboo.github.io/projects My Tutorials - Cadiboo.github.io/tutorials Versions below 1.14.4 are no longer supported on this forum. Cadiboo Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 It works fine in a dev environment, but when you try and play minecraft with the mod, it will not have the mods it needs so it will crash (and because it will not have told Forge that it depends on another mod, it won't be obvious that this is the problem) Quote About Me Spoiler My Discord - Cadiboo#8887 My Website - Cadiboo.github.io My Mods - Cadiboo.github.io/projects My Tutorials - Cadiboo.github.io/tutorials Versions below 1.14.4 are no longer supported on this forum.
