Can't play on recent forge version

I've got forge-1.12.2-14.23.5.2772-installer-win installed but the latest version of forge i can play on is forge-1.12.2-14.23.1.2594 and i have no clue how to play on the version i want.

    Did you run the installer? Once it's been run, it should add the version to your dropdown, it is not installed in the mods folder like a mod, it's a little different. :) If you don't see it in the dropdown after you've run it, try scrolling all the way to the bottom.
