Posted December 12, 20186 yr I've been playing since release and I honestly can't really play the game anymore for more than an hour at a time due to just plain getting bored. What do you guys do to keep you interested in playing minecraft?

June 5, 20196 yr I play episodically. I admire those who build and explore fantastic worlds, but am not (at least so far) one of them. I do find that watching YouTube accounts like fWhip and pixlriffs and even paulsoaresjr will often inspire me to go do something (or try to) in my own worlds. I'm a very cautious player, though, and so, I haven't progressed nearly as far as some of their exploits go. (I still haven't found a nether fortress to conquer :-(). I'd like to understand redstone better. I built a sugar cane farm from one of pixlriffs' videos, and I'd like to do more farming like that. I'm not by nature terribly imaginative, I think. But following someone else's model, makes it work for me. I do miss the mods and shaders in most of my 1.14 worlds, though I'm doing better at getting along in very vanilla worlds.
