"___ is not a valid mod file"

Okay so, relatively new to the whole modding thing since i am more of a console player, but after watching a few guides and walkthroughs all night, i though i had it right.

until i try to start Minecraft with mods. That being said the game doesn't crash or anything of the sort, instead it gives me a message stating that the Jar files in the mod folder are not valid "Mod" files. 

I've been doing exactly as it said in every video i watched and it worked there, iv'e made sure to have Forge 1.13.2 as well. Sorry if i haven't provided enough info, again a bit new to this, any help is greatly appreciated :)

There is the Mods folder, also sorry about this but how exactly do i find/see the debug log?

when i put the mod in the folder and load up into minecraft all it says is (what the mod name is)is not a valid mod file. how do i make it a valid mod file,

Please do not hijack other people’s threads.

If you have an issue make your own, also a mod file being invalid is probably not something YOU can fix, chances are you’re expecting Forge to load a fabric mod or you’re trying to use a pre-1.13 mod with a more recent version of Minecraft, either case will not work and can not be made to work.
