hi, is woult like to hide the nameplates f. e. fro rollplaying servers, so the people have to aks for the name & remember the skin to the name like in reallife, or to scare people with hebroine etc.

there had been a mod for bukkit, but it isn´t updated anymore. I have heared that the nameplate is GUI-Thing. So it´s clientside. Is it possible to install a client-mod? So all people on the server have to install this client-mod or make the edits to the client-files to hide the nameplate(overheadname).

thx

I found a mod to hide the name whenever you want, without having to leave the game. It is for the client side, but it can be installed on servers (with the client side). This mod for the version 1.6.2, and thanks to the author thislooksfun, there is also a version for MC 1.5.2 :D
