Hey all,

for some reason no matter how much I try to install forge 1.12.2 onto my macbook air, it always installs as only forge 1.12 and I am not sure how to stop this from happening. It's making it extremely difficult to play recent updates to mods and I was wondering if there was any way to fix this that any of you would know of. Thank you~

be sure you are only downloading forge from OUR site: https://files.minecraftforge.net/

Any other site most likely is adware bundled with a randomly picked forge installer.

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.

I only ever get my downloads from the forge site, same as the mods. It still won't load 1.12.2 for some reason though.

Oh, nevermind. All I needed to do was delete the 1.12 version and reinstall the 1.12.2 version. A little unintuitive but a simple fix. My computer is just a bit old and stupid
