Hi,

Me and one of my friends wanted to play some modded Minecraft together (1.12.2), and we installed a couple of mods. However, as soon as my friend tries to join any Singleplayer world, his game crashes. That's strange, considering that we have the same version of Forge, the same mods (clientside and not) and it works like a charm for me. I've tried to troubleshoot by reading through his crash log; as it turns out, all the mods appear to load without any error, but the only (fatal?) error I see is "No OpenGL context found in the current thread.", so it appears that the crash may have to do with rendering, thus I told him to update his NVIDIA Graphics Card Drivers, but still the game crashes upon joining a world. Is there anything I've missed in the log? How can he fix this problem?

The filenames of some of your mods suggests you are not getting them from official sources, please read my signature for more info on why this is a bad thing.

This is my Forum Signature, I am currently attempting to transform it into a small guide for fixing easier issues using spoiler blocks to keep things tidy.

As the most common issue I feel I should put this outside the main bulk:

The only official source for Forge is https://files.minecraftforge.net, and the only site I trust for getting mods is CurseForge.

If you use any site other than these, please take a look at the StopModReposts project and install their browser extension, I would also advise running a virus scan.

For players asking for assistance with Forge please expand the spoiler below and read the appropriate section(s) in its/their entirety.
