Posted May 31, 20196 yr Hello Staff Member, The (Minecraft) server I play, did recently updated to 1.14.2 Now I looked up the site that I know is the real Forge. (https://files.minecraftforge.net/) But there was no 1.14.2 forge version. I typed in google: "Minecraft forge for 1.14.2" It showed me this site: (https://www.minecraft-downloads.com/download/forge/) Now I don't know if I can trust this site. Do you know if this is the real site or a copycat that might put a virus on my laptop. Kind regards, JeroenJ

May 31, 20196 yr Quoted from the site you've posted: Quote The download will be managed by a download manager. The mentioned download manager doesn't have any relationship with the main software author. You may download Minecraft Forge freely from the author's website. The download manager will make recommendations for commercial offers that you might be interested in, including software applications, free toolbars and other types of browser add-ons. More information about the software applications presented during installation found here. This website is not affiliated with Forge or Minecraft. Some tips: Spoiler Modder Support: Spoiler 1. Do not follow tutorials on YouTube, especially TechnoVision (previously called Loremaster) and HarryTalks, due to their promotion of bad practice and usage of outdated code. 2. Always post your code. 3. Never copy and paste code. You won't learn anything from doing that. 4. Quote Programming via Eclipse's hotfixes will get you nowhere 5. Learn to use your IDE, especially the debugger. 6. Quote The "picture that's worth 1000 words" only works if there's an obvious problem or a freehand red circle around it. Support & Bug Reports: Spoiler 1. Read the EAQ before asking for help. Remember to provide the appropriate log(s). 2. Versions below 1.11 are no longer supported due to their age. Update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.
