setBlockWithMetadata and setBlockNotify replacement?

Hello,

 

Could somebody tell me what the replacement for setBlockWithMetadata and setBlockNotify is in 1.5.1?

Because there is only setBlock and setBlockMetadataWithNotify. But setBlock can't replace them because it errors and setBlockMetadataWithNotify just makes the block turn into air.

Have you tried checking what you got access to inn a World?

What methods do you have which might do as the old ones did?

 

Also when you say it errors out, which error? have you tried googling the error it gives?
