I know a lot of stuff in minecraft, but trying to figure out minecraft stuff in Java is a whole other field. I've coded a log and a WIP dimension changing TNT.

The log and the TNT blocks shows up as black and purple blocks, and the TNT item is also a black and purple block. Have no clue how to solve this because I copy and pasted from minecraft source code.

From the file name of your classes, I can already tell that you are following bad tutorials.

Most YouTube tutorials on modding are rather bad as they promote bad coding practices and outdated methods.

Please read the common issues and recommendations pinned at the top of this forum to learn how to fix those bad practices.

I would suggest to rewrite/refractor your code after that.

As for your problem, I don't see that you've added a texture for your block.

Some tips:

1. Do not follow tutorials on YouTube, especially TechnoVision (previously called Loremaster) and HarryTalks, due to their promotion of bad practice and usage of outdated code.

2. Always post your code.

3. Never copy and paste code. You won't learn anything from doing that.

5. Learn to use your IDE, especially the debugger.

Support & Bug Reports:

Spoiler

1. Read the EAQ before asking for help. Remember to provide the appropriate log(s).

2. Versions below 1.11 are no longer supported due to their age. Update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.
