I've been playing Modded Minecraft for a couple days and, all of a sudden, after messing about with Optifine Settings and doing driver updates and stuff on my computer, it's completely unplayable.

I tried resetting the settings of Optifine, turning everything to fast or off, but I just don't understand how, with the good computer I have, how the FPS can be 0 sometimes.
I hope these screenshots provide all the information you need to help me:(

Sorry if I'm being stupid, I will be unbelievable appreciative if you can help me out.
For additional information, I close all web pages and all apps including those in tray, when I play Minecraft.

Also, as I said, I had all of these mods and was playing fine but had a bit of lag. It was only when I downloaded updates and messed about with Optifine that it became unplayable, so the mods shouldn't be the problem.

Have you tried removing Optifine completely?

This is my Forum Signature, I am currently attempting to transform it into a small guide for fixing easier issues using spoiler blocks to keep things tidy.

As the most common issue I feel I should put this outside the main bulk:

The only official source for Forge is https://files.minecraftforge.net, and the only site I trust for getting mods is CurseForge.

If you use any site other than these, please take a look at the StopModReposts project and install their browser extension, I would also advise running a virus scan.

For players asking for assistance with Forge please expand the spoiler below and read the appropriate section(s) in its/their entirety.

I have removed the mod from the mods folder if that's what's you mean? I then loaded Minecraft and then closed then reinstalled the jar file and put it back into the folder.

I asked if you had tried running the game without it and your answer seems to amount to "I tried reinstalling it"

I said that I removed the mod from the mods folder and then ran it. It was only after I ran forge without optifine that I reinstalled it.

So you're saying it worked without Optifine?

Popping from topic to topic really confused me, I should slow down.

Was the performance any better without Optifine?
