Some items not appearing and are not craftable

Recently I have downloaded some mods, Thaumcraft and Flans mod, both looked really cool but when I try to craft something nothing shows and with the flans mod nothing appears in creative or recipe book with thaumcraft most things are there but some things are missing such as the wand. Please help.

Thaumcraft disables the player’s ability of looking up certain recipes via JEI until the player unlock such recipes via thaumcraft’s custom progression line.

But I know the recipe for an apprentice wand and it doesn't appear in creative and I can't craft it.

It may be added by an addon mod.

I’m pretty sure there is no such thing called “apprentice wand” in vanilla thaumcraft.

But you need a wand to even start the adventure in thaumcraft why would it be an add-on and same as Flans I cant craft the gun box which is also how you make guns which is the main part of flans and there are no guns or vehicles in creative.

What version are you playing exactly? TC has changed many times over its life.

In 1.7.10 you need to craft an iron-capped wand with iron caps and a stick; I suppose that is what you meant by “apprentice wand”.

In 1.12.2 wands are replaced by casting gauntlets. Start the mod by crafting salis mundane and applying it on a bookshelf.

 

As for Flan not showing up, I suspect that the mod isn’t installed properly. Please provide your debug.log as instructed in the EAQ.

Recently I have downloaded Flans mod, when I go into creative or into JEI it doesn't come up with any guns just benches but when I try to craft a weapons bench it doesn't appear either. Please help.

Got the same problem on a multiplayer mc server. Very anoying. Does anyone know how to fix it. Me and my friend would really like to play with eachother with flansmod.
