I install forge, 1.14.4 ( latest and recommended build)  completely fine, it loads up. but when I try to install  optifine to use with forge, optifine used is 1.14.4 latest version on the main page, it doesn't work in forge. I have obviously moved the  jar file to the mods folder etc. Please help me.

    thanks, is there anyway to know when a stable version of optifine gets released ?

     

    and may I also ask, even though I downloaded the latest and recommended forge build, it still says forge beta on the Minecraft main menu screen?

    Optifine Dev is just like like EVERY OTHER DEV. It's done when it's done! No matter how much you and I wish it was already here....
