Hello,

 

I am trying to use forge-28.0.101 for minecraft 1.14.4 on Ubuntu and the game gives me the Error: "Le jeu a cessé de fonctionner" with the text: "un problème inattendu est survenu et le jeu a planté. Nous sommes désolés pour la gêne occasionnée."

 

I have restart and reinstalled forge already. I have tried with lower version of forge for lower version of minecraft, it's the same error.

 

I don't know what to do.

Sorry for the time to answer. I'm using the official launcher now. I installed forge successfully from the installer.jar

 

It's exactly the same error message

You must use Java 8, 9, or 10 to run Forge.

Updating Forge to run on 11 would require dropping support for Java 8, which can't be done because it's what Mojang ships with the game.

The only official source for Forge is https://files.minecraftforge.net, and the only site I trust for getting mods is CurseForge.

If you use any site other than these, please take a look at the StopModReposts project and install their browser extension, I would also advise running a virus scan.
