A common error that usually occurs due to mistake in model and textures file names. But I don’t understand why I have it. I checked all the names (and more than once). I fully reassembled the project several times. I even took a tutorial project from github on which I studied modding. This does not work. I'm still loading without textures from the mod. I would be grateful for any help.

Does this file exist here? Show your folder tree, please.

No. I don’t understand why he is looking for a block file in items. But there are another files, for example:

Folder Tree. And item model get from block model, why he looking for block model in models/item?

It's looking for the model of the ItemBlock that corresponds to the Block, using the registry name of the ItemBlock, which you probably set to the registry name of the Block. Since ItemBlock models are stored in models/item just like other items' models, that's where it's looking. So for that you need an ItemBlock model in models/item that's named [Block'sRegistryName].json.

assets/weird needs to be assets/[yourmodid]. That's already the case, assuming "weird" is your mod id. At the moment, though, I'm not sure why the other models aren't being loaded properly, as it seems your file path is correct with basic_item. Make sure your development program is properly in sync with the file system-- I had a lot of trouble from Eclipse with that at one point.

Weird is modid. What do you mean about "your development program is properly in sync with the file system"?

Item model for basic_block get from the basic_block's block model. Why do I need another JSON file? But he can looking for it if he did not find block/basic_block.json

I looked minecraft sources, they used "child" .json for block's item

{
    "parent": "block/andesite"
}

But it worked without second .json. While it worked... :(

Blocks need three Json files. The blockstate, block model, and item model(assuming it has an item the player can have in their inventory).

Ok. I'm added item/basic_block.json how child block/basic_block. But he still does not see resources.

I found this similar topic (because now I understood a bit what the problem is). And this is really the same if I manually transfer build/resource/assets to build/classes/main/assets everything works ...

If you are using Intellij 14 (which you should) you need to add the following to the end of your build.gradle before importing:

sourceSets {
    main {
        output.resourcesDir = output.classesDir
    }
}

If you don't do that, your assets will not work. (Thanks to Cazzar for this solution)

Solved.
