HELP my forge 1.8.9 crashed!

so basically i want skyblock addons for hypixel and i dowloaded forge (i use mac OS FYI)  and this error popped up: 

The game crashed whilst there was a severe problem during mod loading that has caused the game to fail
Error: net.minecraftforge.fml.common.LoaderException: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Lnet/minecraftforge/registries/IForgeRegistry;

so yeah i need some help here because i want to NOT drop op weapons on the ground, Thanks for helping!

1.8.9 is no longer supported on this forum due to its age.

Update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.

 

The author of the mod should really update the mod to a newer version of Minecraft.
